We understand that when it comes to choosing a new home, you likely have several questions. We are here to address them all. Below, we’ve compiled some of the most common questions to help you make an informed decision.
What is included with the monthly rent?
Your monthly rent will include landscaping, snow removal, maintenance inside & outside of your home, water, weekly trash service, 24 hour emergency maintenance, and access to our Community Center along with our other community amenities. Gas, electricity, cable, and internet are not included in the monthly rent.
What are the requirements to reserve a home?
Complete and signed application. Information/Documents required for apllication review: 1. Employment/Income Verification 2. Rental History 3. Copy of Drivers Licenseor Passport of Applicant/Co Applicant and all other occupants over the age of 18 years.
How do I sign a lease?
Once your application is approved and we have a move in date for your new home, you will be required to sign a Lease Agreement. The security deposit of $1500 is due upon signing the Lease Agreement. Your first month rent is due at key pick-up.
What is your pet policy?
Cats & Dogs are both allowed at Cottage Grove. We will welcome 2 pets per home. We require a non-refundable $350 fee upon signing the Lease Agreement. There will be a monthly pet fee of $50.00.
Do you offer a short term lease?
No. We do not offer a short term lease. A lease agreement can be signed for a 1 or 2 year lease at your initial signing.
How can I pay for rent?
We have an easy to use online auto payment portal and also accept checks, cashier’s check or money order. We do not accept cash. Payments can be made payable to: Cottage Grove.
